

Beverly Lou Gibbons, 73, of Largo, passed away peacefully May 12, 2011 at Hospice Woodside. She was born in Canton, Ohio on March 11, 1938 to the late Edwin Roscoe McCoy and Bertha Mae Abbott McCoy and she retired as a bookkeeper from Baycare Home Care. She is also preceded by 3 sisters, Verna McCoy, Francis E Notch, Helen L Pfiester; 5 brothers, Romeo, Willis, Dorris, James and Donald McCoy. She is survived by a loving family to include, Betty Jo Rucker (sister), Melvin E Gibbons Sr, Debra L Edmonds, Melvin E Gibbons Jr, Penny S Mueller, and Stacy A Cason; 4 grandchildren, Phillip Douglas Renicker, Katelyn and Madelyn Gibbons, Donovin Gibbons; and 3 great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Doug and Jessie Renicker. Service will be Saturday, May 21, 2011, 2pm at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Rd, Clearwater, FL 33764, 727-562-2070.

Beverly L. Gibbons, age 73, of Largo, Florida passed away peacefully May 12, 2011. She was born in Canton, OH. and is preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Roscoe and Bertha Mae (Abbott) McCoy; five brothers and three sisters. She is survived by four children, Debra, Mel, Penny and Stacy; one sister, Betty Jo Rucker; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Beverly graduated from Strasburg Franklin High School in 1957, volunteered as a Girl Scout leader, for the American Red Cross and was a member of the Women of the Moose for many years. Beverly opened a youth center in Strasburg in the mid-1970s and became a surrogate mom for many of the town's youth. Her charitable spirit and enduring love will be missed by all those she touched. Please help us celebrate her life on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Kreighbaum-Sanders Funeral Home on South Cleveland Ave. with Pastor Ruthann Bosley officiating.
