Brian was born April 13, 1962, in St. Petersburg, FL, where he called home his entire life. He was the beloved and cherished son of the late Dale Vaun Wilder and Mary Wilder.
Brian was a land surveyor and greatly loved the outdoors, traveling, history, math and music. He played guitar and enjoyed woodworking and working on motors. He will be remembered for his joy, laughter, gentleness and kindness, as well as his story telling of great fun and loving memories and a multitude of interesting facts.
He was a man of remarkable strength and perseverance facing each day’s challenges, regardless of the cost or sacrifice. He was able to complete his final project of going through and organizing his shed, while living through and remembering each piece of his and his family’s history that he preserved.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Wilder, whom he shared 45 wonderful years. He is also survived by his loving and devoted son Jacob Vaun Wilder, with whom he shared a love of baseball and took immense pride in watching his son play the game he loved. He is further survived by his loving sister Kimberly Shulmister.
