Carl Joseph Enslin, 77, of Belleair Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025. Born on January 15, 1948, in Buffalo, New York, he was the beloved son of the late Emma and Victor Enslin.
A man of quiet strength, steadfast character, and generous heart, Carl proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves following his schooling. He went on to build a long and dedicated career in service to others—first as a store manager with A&P Grocery Stores and later Albertsons, and ultimately as a hardworking and well-loved letter carrier with the United States Postal Service.
Carl found joy in the simple but meaningful parts of life. He loved tending to his yard, cheering on Notre Dame and the New York Yankees, and spending time with his family and his cherished dogs. Above all else, Carl was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a proud grandfather whose presence brought comfort, strength, and humor to those blessed to know him.
Carl is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce A. Enslin; his daughters, Michelle (Gary) Alfred, Carol “Joey” Barnes, and Vickie Shire; and his grandchildren, Logan Shire, Kassie Shire, Gideon Alfred, and Kyle Barnes. He is also remembered by many extended family members and dear friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sisters, Marilyn Mansur, Louellen Hennings, and Ruth Walls.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, honoring Carl’s generous spirit and his lifelong desire to help others.
