

Born on December 24, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, and relocated to Clearwater, Florida, in 1972 to raise her family, where she built a life centered on family, friendship, and community. She will be remembered for her loving heart, unwavering strength, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Carol was known for her generosity, wonderful sense of humor, fierce independence, determination, compassion, and strong work ethic. She touched countless lives and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Carol found joy in crossword puzzles, spending time with family, sharing stories and laughter, and creating cherished memories with those she loved. Her family was the center of her world, and she took great pride in the accomplishments and happiness of each generation.
Carol is survived by her daughters, Patricia Cavanaugh and Tammy (Robert Sr.) Holveck; her grandchildren, Jeccica (Joseph) Schelble, Laura Holveck, Robert Holveck Jr. and Kyle Cavanaugh; and her great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Anthony Schelble. She is also lovingly remembered by nephew Ronald Connor Jr. and many extended family members and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her children Barbara Jean Daley and Robert Lester Daley Jr.; Parents, Loretta and James Connor Sr.; her brothers, Ronald Connor Sr. and James Connor Jr.
A funeral and memorial service will be held on August 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, followed by interment from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. Family, friends, and members of the community are invited to attend and celebrate a life well lived.
Though Carol is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and the countless memories she created will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion to family, friends, and community will never be forgotten.
