She was born on February 14, 1942, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Buford and Lois Craft. From the very beginning, Carol lived with a spark of independence, a compassionate heart, and an unwavering determination. These qualities shaped a life rich in purpose, community, and love.

Carol was a successful and self-made business owner, admired for her entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Throughout her career, she showed not only sharp business acumen but also a deep sense of integrity and kindness. She also enjoyed working with Friends of Strays, a local animal rescue organization. Her love for animals was lifelong, and she found great fulfillment in helping give a voice to those who could not speak for themselves.

Carol’s greatest joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kimberly Jarvis, and a proud, loving grandmother to her grandson, Craig Turnau.
