

Charles Hiram Stebbins, “Chuck” was born in Columbus, Ohio to Charles & Marguerite Stebbins, May 21, 1938 and was raised in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. He attended Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio from 1956-1961. He met his wife, Dianne at Bowling Green State University and they were married on February 3, 1962 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They began their married life in Toledo, Ohio where their daughter, Leslie was born in 1963. They moved to Sandusky, Ohio and their son, David was born in 1964. Chuck took on a new job in 1967 in Minneapolis, MN and lived there with the family for 3 years before moving to Atlanta in 1971 where they spent the next 24 years. Chuck was in sales throughout his life and loved meeting people. He excelled as a national and regional sales manager for numerous companies over the years. In 1983, he began his own manufacturers rep business (Stebbins & Associates) and enjoyed continued success until he and Dianne moved to Florida in 1995. He loved boating and had his sailboat moved to Florida with the intention of sailing the west coast of Florida, which they did for several years having the boat in the water right behind their Clearwater home. He loved working in the garden and watching the “flora and fauna”. Travelling with Dianne was another passion, in addition to playing bridge with different bridge groups. He and Dianne went on many cruises in the Caribbean and Europe. He also loved to dance and did so on many occasions while at parties and on cruises. He was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, the Island Estates Yacht Club and the Island Estates Men’s Stag Group.
He is survived by his wife Dianne of 57 years. daughter, Leslie and husband, Mike Morris of Palm Harbor, Fl, son, David and wife, Kimberlee Stebbins of Granite Bay, Calif. Grandchildren: Chase Barlow, Euless, TX, Hunter Barlow and fiancé, Meghan Thorndyke, Ft. Collins, CO, Jackson Barlow, Dallas, TX
Michael Stebbins, Sacramento, CA, Natalie Stebbins and Jack Stebbins, Granite Bay, CA.
He is also survived by his sister, Sue Speck, husband John and niece, Sara of Clearwater, FL.
