Charles M Valone

Charles M Valone, age 86, of Clearwater Beach, Florida went home to be with his heavenly Father on Thursday, January 2, 2025. His loving wife, Nancy Catherine Valone, and his younger brothers, Jim Valone and George Valone, preceded him in death. He is survived by his son, Joel Michael Valone (Beth), daughter, Jaymie Valone Kleinman (Eric), and brother-in-law, Thomas August Mylander (Sandy). He also has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Charlie graduated from Clearwater High School and was a long-time Chapel by the Sea member. He served his country in the United States Air Force for four years. Family was very important to Charlie. He enjoyed volunteering with his son's Boy Scout troop when Joel was younger and camping with his grandsons later in life. Charlie loved cars and that love made him a talented auto mechanic. He could fix anything!!

Charlie was known for his integrity and strong work ethic. The neighbors will remember their conversations with Charlie during his daily walks with his dog.

A visitation for Charles will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759 with a funeral service to start at 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Suncoast or the SPCA.
