

Corina Magdalena Castaneda Frank, age 92, peacefully passed away on January 21, 2025, in Clearwater, Florida. She was a resident of The Preserve of Dunedin in Clearwater, Florida, where she lived a full and vibrant life surrounded by friends, family, and love.
Born on February 23, 1932, Corina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 37 years, Ralph Joseph Frank; her first husband, Richard Lane; her eldest son, Steven Lane; her brother, Henry Castaneda; her sister, Irene Smith; and her mother, Corina Castaneda.
She is survived by her children, Robert Lane, Dennis Lane, Patricia Stuart, Richard Lane and Susan Cunningham; her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sons in law, Robert Stuart and Grant Cunningham; and her loving sisters, Elena Castaneda and Lucrecia Rogers.
Corina’s life was marked by her boundless generosity and love. She opened her heart and home to her beloved nieces, nephews, and many of her children’s friends, welcoming all with warmth, kindness, and the sense of belonging she so effortlessly created.
She was a gifted artist, sharing her talents by teaching painting lessons throughout her life and inspiring others with her love for art. She had a passion for cooking and enjoyed leading cooking classes at The Preserve, crafting meals that brought people together. Corina loved arts and crafts, nature trips with her children, beach outings, and hosting countless family celebrations that left indelible memories for all who attended.
Her life with her husband Ralph was filled with joy and adventure. Together, they traveled, enjoyed gardening, created farm to table culinary delights and embraced the slower pace of Florida living, savoring time fishing, visiting the beach, bowling and cheering on their favorite baseball teams the Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays. They created a life rich in love and shared experiences.
Corina was also a proud and passionate supporter of her country. Known for her unique activism, she proudly walked the halls of The Preserve with a Trump sign attached to her walker, sparking open dialogue and inspiring others to express their views. Her unwavering commitment to civic duty saw her voting in person, cherishing the experience as a testament to her faith in the democratic process. She was overjoyed to witness President Trump’s election victory and later his inauguration, moments she celebrated with gratitude to her Heavenly Father.
Above all, Corina’s life was a testament to her faith, generosity, and love for her family and community. Her warmth, creativity, and passion left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
