

Cynthia Sue Sarver Churchward, 66, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. She was born on February 6, 1959, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, to the late Robert and Helen Sarver.
A devoted practitioner of the Buddhist faith, Cynthia's life was centered on compassion, mindfulness, and supporting others. She was especially devoted to Drikung Kagyu Buddhist teachings and supported causes that nurtured spiritual growth and well-being. Through her practice, she exemplified the values of kindness, love, and service to others, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Cynthia managed the Countryside Executive Golf Course, where she carried her work with the same care and attention she gave to her spiritual path. She brought harmony and warmth into every aspect of her life, guided by the wisdom and compassion she cultivated in her faith.
Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband, Jack E. Churchward; her loving children, Elizabeth (Andy) Smith, Cassandra Salzman, and Jack (Harmony) Churchward; her dear brother, Robert L. (Becky) Sarver; and seven grandchildren. She will also be missed by her extended family and countless friends who were touched by her generosity and love. Cynthia was preceded in death by her cherished brother, John Curtis Sarver.
