Born to Darrell and Mavis Lee on November 19, 1949, in Nashville, GA, Cynthia Annette Lee was a beacon of love, kindness, and unwavering faith throughout her life. She was deeply devoted to her family, her friends, and her faith. Cindy married Jim Sturtz on October 14, 1974 and loved him even beyond his passing on Valentine’s Day in 2023. They were reunited one day after their 50th wedding anniversary.
After graduating from Clearwater High School, Cindy committed nearly 5 decades of service to the Florida title insurance industry. She was known throughout the Tampa Bay area as a highly respected and knowledgeable examiner. Cindy was also a treasured employee, co-worker, and boss. She brought wisdom, diligence and care to her profession.
Cindy’s love lives on in her two daughters, Cate and Colleen, who carry her strength and spirit. She also leaves behind five grandchildren—Carmen, Nathaniel, James, Aiden, and Sean—whom she adored, and four great-grandchildren—Liam, Chloe, Ronin, and Evelynn—who brought her endless joy. Cindy was the kind of grandmother who could light up any room with her warmth and laughter.
She is also survived by her dear siblings: Darrell, Patricia, Brenda, and Tom, whose bond with her was a testament to the love they shared. Cindy joins her beloved mother, father, and brother, Ed, in Heaven.
Cindy’s faith in the Lord guided her through life, and her kindness and wisdom touched everyone who knew her. Her family and friends will forever carry her love in their hearts, remembering the countless moments she spent giving of herself to others.
On Sunday, Oct 27th at 2pm in a private graveside service, Cindy will be laid to rest beside Jim at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater.
