David was born on September 5, 1945, in the United Kingdom to the late Audrey (née Park) and Woodrow Lee Henderson. He was a hardworking and humble man who lived a simple life, finding happiness in the people he loved and the things he enjoyed.
David dedicated more than 30 years of his life to Pinellas County, where he worked as an Appraiser. He took pride in his work and in the many years he spent serving his community before retiring.
In his free time, David enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed cheering on his favorite Tampa Bay teams, the Tampa Bay Rays, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tampa Bay Lightning. He also loved playing cards and poker with friends, where good company, laughter, and a little friendly competition made for memorable times.
David will be remembered as a kind and unassuming man who valued friendship, family, and the comfort of familiar things. He did not need much to be happy—good friends, a game of cards, a favorite team on television, and the people he cared about were enough. His quiet presence and the memories he created with those around him will be deeply missed.
David leaves behind his beloved sister, Sandra Brown, and her children, Darenda (Thomas) Rill, Charlie Brown, and Dannell Brown, along with many extended family members and dear friends who were blessed to know him.
Though David has passed from this life, the memories of his gentle spirit, his friendship, and the simple moments shared with him will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
Rest peacefully, David. You will be missed and lovingly remembered.
