She was born March 12, 1958 to the late Benjamin and Virginia (Hambrick) Carr in Griffin, Georgia.
She was married to Norman Bernard in 1988 in Barnesville, Georgia where they lived for several years before moving to Dunedin, Florida. Denise is survived by two beloved sons Benjamin Bernard and Daniel Bernard. Her greatest love was her boys, husband, dog Schatzi, family, and friends. She leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
