He was born May 20, 1947 in Queens, New York, to John and Carol Maranville. He joined the Navy in 1965 and proudly served his country as his father did in the Army. Denny ultimately took a vacation in 1975 and moved to sunny Clearwater, Florida and decided to brave the sun instead of the snow. He met the love of his life, Brenda, and married her in 1986 starting their own journey. Denny dedicated his life to his family, friends, his career at GTE, and neighborhood.
He is survived by his sister Marianne, along with his niece and nephews, Melissa, John, Jason, and James. His son Todd and daughter Missy. His grandchildren Tandra, Tandy J., Zach, Hannah, and Sydney, and his great granddaughter Marissa (Mari).
He is preceded in death by his loving parents Carol and John, sister Carol (Sissy), wife Brenda, son Tandy E., and brother in law John.
A visitation for Dennis will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759.
