

Dolores Salim, 95, of Largo, Florida, passed away on November 8, 2025, She was born September 19, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1948, and went on to become a Certified Stenographer Reporter. She was employed for 20 years as a secretary in the Federal Probation Office in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
Dolores got married to the love of her life, Theodore Salim, in 1954. She was married for 59 years before her husband passed away in 2013. She was preceded in death by one child in 2001, Alan Salim.
Dolores is survived by two children, Theodore Salim and Karen Al-Shehri; her sister, Alice Elias; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dolores will be remembered first and foremost for her love and devotion to family, her love of life, love of travel, and her indomitable spirit.
Please join us for viewing on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 5-8pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home in Clearwater, Florida – a eulogy will be delivered at 7:00, and others are welcome to share. On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, viewing will begin again at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home at 11:00am, with service at 11:30am, and entombment to follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. You are welcome to join us for a reception at the funeral home immediately afterward.
