Domenick Salvo

Domenick Salvo, who was born on September 21, 1927, and peacefully left us on June 12, 2024, at the age of 96. Domenick was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, where he found the love of his life, Santa Buscemi. They were married in 1949 and shared a beautiful life together until her passing in 2023.

Domenick and Santa were blessed with three wonderful children: Maria Salvo White, Frank Salvo, and Joe Salvo. He now joins his beloved son Joe, grandson Nicholas, and his dear wife Santa in eternal rest with our Heavenly Father. Domenick is survived by his children Maria and Frank, who carry on his legacy with love and fond memories.

Domenick was also a devoted grandfather who adored his grandchildren, Melissa, Nicholas, Katie, Michael and Alexis. He also had 3 great grandchildren, Taylor,Talia and Tori. His eyes would light up with pride and joy whenever he spoke of them, and he cherished the time they spent together.

Domenick led an incredible life, full of adventure and joy. He traveled the world, immersing himself in different cultures and experiences. His zest for life was matched only by his love for his family. Domenick cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, always ready to share a laugh or a heartfelt story. He had a passion for playing cards and a great love for dancing, gracefully moving to the rhythm of life with a smile on his face.

Domenick's warmth, kindness, and spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and joy. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Grief is love’s souvenir. Where there is deep grief there is great love. May he rest in peace, reunited with his beloved Santa, Joe, and Nicholas, forever dancing in our hearts and embraced by the love of our Lord.
