Doris E. Sweet

She was born September 16, 1942, in Amesbury, MA and was raised in both Amesbury and Saugus, MA.

Doris married Don Sweet on September 9,1961 in Saugus, MA. Together they had two daughters and raised their family in Reading, MA, East Granby, CT and Safety Harbor, FL. After retiring, Doris lived in New Port Richey (Trinity), FL.

Doris began her career with the federal government and worked at the Custom House in Boston, MA for many years. After raising her family, Doris worked as an Executive Assistant in Clearwater and Tampa, retiring from AmSouth Bank in 2006.

Doris was an avid reader, a Tampa Bay Rays fan, and always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Kristin Marteen and Amy Smith; her son-in-law Dave Smith; her grandchildren Carter Smith, Cole Smith, Luke Marteen and McKenna Marteen; her siblings Bill Loiselle, Anita Hurley, Marie (George) Chobanian, Rich Loiselle, Leona Loiselle and Lorraine (Ralph) Littlefield and several nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Don, her parents Richard and Marguerite Loiselle and her niece, Diane.
