Albert Eager 1929-2009 Charlotte Eager 1929-2016

EAGER, Charlotte Frederick, 86, of Clearwater, FL died June 21, 2016. Charlotte was born on July 17, 1929 in Paxinos, Pennsylvania to William and Clara Frederick. Charlotte was one of four children, including her sister, Betty, and brothers, Ed and Dave. Her family moved from the small town in upstate Pennsylvania to Philadelphia when she was a teenager and she graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1947. She married Albert Edward Eager July 21, 1951 and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage until Al passed away in 2009. They had three children, Jon, Ed and Linda. Her family has many fond memories of “Nan”. She enjoyed country music, loved to cook and bake apple pies for her family and her favorite activity was family gatherings. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A memorial service will be held in Clearwater, Florida in October. Further information will be made available to family and friends. Charlotte is survived by sons Jon (Jane), Westlake, Ohio, and Edward (Stacy), Largo, Florida, daughter Linda Gassenschmidt (Wayne), three grandchildren, Scott, Joe and Janey, and her brother Ed Frederick. www.sylvanabbey.com
