Eleanor “Ellie” Kearey, of Palm Harbor, passed away September 13, 2018 at ManorCare in Palm Harbor at 102 years old. Born and raised in Chicago, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Kearey; grandson, John Moffett; and parents, Elfreida and John Clancy. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Moffett (Dr. Robert); grandchildren, Lisa and Ryan Moffett (Chelsea); great-grandchildren, Nina, Rowan, Sloan, and Marilyn; a sister, Gertrude of Chicago.
She worked for years at Hoyne Savings and Loan in Chicago as secretary to the president. In retirement, she enjoyed playing golf and bowling with friends. Her family enjoyed their dinners eating Ellie’s delicious food!
Ellie will be remembered at a graveside service on Sunday, Sept. 30th, 11am at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association.
