Giesow, Enid, of Dunedin, went home to her Lord on Dec. 3, 2015. She was born in Ayr, Scotland on April 23, 1941 and survived the Blitz of WWII. Enid graduated from the prestigious Ayr Academy and later joined the Women’s Royal Air Force (WRAF) where she received her training at Bletchley Park, the UK’s noted Government Code and Cypher School. She was married in 1966 to her husband, Kenneth, marking 49 years as a couple. They moved to Dunedin from Hillside, IL in 1977 and both became an integral part of the Scottish community. Enid worked with the school bands, served as president of the Dunedin Highland Games for two years and was a founding member of the Scottish American Society (SAS). She worked for several years at Nielsen. Enid leaves behind her husband, Kenneth; her daughter Heather Eve (Dennis) Watson and two grandsons, Seamus and Liam. In Scotland she leaves behind a sister, Ann Barr, two brothers, Ian and William Campbell and many relatives and friends.
