I'm so GLAD I have these memories Daddy- if it weren't for you, I wouldn't have gotten into taking pictures all the time! THANK YOU!

He was my grandpa and i miss him so much and LOVE HIM STILL so much and was a great grandpa to me. Love, LOGAN ps: I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Today, its been 2 years.... I cant believe it. I miss you and think of you every day daddy! So many times in my day to day life you are with me! I wish I could hug and kiss you, and hear your voice again.  Like when creativeness flutters my mind when I'm fixing something, or making a project with Logan. Remembering how you would imper-vise all the time when fixing or making something. I thank you, everyday..for showing me all you did. I never realized how much I learned from you, until you were gone.....
I love how I can teach Logan things you've taught me, and the stories that go along with it. :) I remember on Rogers Ave, Buffalo, N.Y. I was about Logan's age, the night before we planned to go fishing the next day, after you watered the lawn, all the 'night crawlers' worms would come up from the damp ground, and we would pick them together, put them in a bucket with dirt for bait the next day. You always wanted to include your children  in doing things with you. I remember going to Ontario, Canada to fish- I caught  a big bass bigger than me! :) I remember the bakery across the street, where we would get mama's favorite... fresh baked rolls! and potato chips and pop. I also remember falling asleep on the way home in the back seat with Stevie after a long fun day outdoors, listening to Bobby Darin, Lionel Richie, Glen Campbell, and Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. I never wanted the night to end, so safe, secure, and happy kid. I pass your dresser everyday, and see the picture of me riding my 24 inch bike that you always proudly kept on your dresser in a frame in every house we lived since I was 7 years old. You were so proud of me and loved me so much, I was your little girl.... you would say I miss that little girl.... thoughts like I have of Logan growing up now days. You were always a great daddy! You loved your children, and they love you. Love Judy.

It's the first nice day of Spring in Buffalo. I remember how hard you worked on the yard wherever you lived, but the fondest for me was on Rogers Avenue in Buffalo in 1978. We worked together, side by side, lots of us. There was plenty to do,  inside and out. I remember how refreshing a cold popsicle was while taking a break from scraping layers of wallpaper off the kitchen walls with you on a hot summer day. I remember Nancy digging up the weeds to make a flower bed with you, a skill that served her well for her future home. I remember little Stevie and Judy and baseball and fireworks at Weber Field. I remember Mama hanging out the laundry in the yard. It was so nice to have our own yard  again since Coit St. I remember watering the grass after dusk and standing by your side after a hard days' work of mowing and landscaping and admiring a job well done. (BTW, it was a push mower and those hand clippers for the edges...) We were tough! Sometimes, somebody would walk to Bells for....you guessed it...ice cream! 
I remember staying up for The Tonight Show laughing with Johnny Carson. No tv available 24/7. National Anthem and that's that.
It was the good kind of pride...our very own home to care for. You would give us a ride to our jobs at McDonalds all the way to the Como Mall. Kenny was the big manager. I remember David coming over.  I remember the beautiful wallpaper, especially the tiny little yellow flowered one in the bathroom. I remember how you scrubbed the living room rug by hand on your knees with a scrub brush and how  we picked out the new wallpaper.  I remember our picnic table under the pine tree and how we spent Sunday afternoons together in the yard. I remember fishing in Ft Erie in Canada and getting fresh baked rolls, a brick of cheese, and ginger ale from Ontario Bakery.  I remember family dinners and getting my first office job at Merchants Mutual (BTW, thanks for the suggestion. That's how I met Steve!) You're a good Daddy! 

Joann, Ken, Sue, Dave, Gayle, Nancy, Steve, Gail, Steve, Stevie, Judy & families - I am so very sorry for your loss of your husband, dad, father-in-law and grandpa.  Euge was quite the character and always made me laugh.  Wish I could be there for you but know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers.

One of my very first memories was of Uncle Eugene holding me up and dancing around someone’s kitchen while singing “Oh Marie” by Perry Como when I was around three years old.
I’ll always remember his sense of humor and his strong dedication to his family. I’m so sorry we couldn’t have spoken one last time.

He did it his way most of the time...many good times were had to the very end...a commitment he had indeed & fulfilled most of the needs. You will be remembered through the many stories that will be told over the years to come😎 Keep em laughing up there🌈
