Evelyn R. Smout, 96, of Clearwater, passed away July 4, 2021 at Regency Oaks of Clearwater. Evelyn was born August 24, 1924 in Batavia, New York. She leaves behind a son; Gene (Prudence) Smout, a grandson; Cody L Smout, a granddaughter; Jessa L Talermo and four great grandchildren; Jnana, Waylon, Rose and Aris.
She loved flowers, puzzles, the beach, friends and family and her life in Florida. She was a very positive person and proactive regarding her future. She was without doubt a kind, gentle, Christian lady and will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be visitation held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home for Evelyn on Sunday, July 11 at 2:30 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm. Burial will be private at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Cornerstone Community Church or Suncoast Hospice.
