When I was not yet a teenager, I remember Frank and Lollie as a loving uncle and aunt who invited me and my brother to come and stay with them and their family. Bill and I liked to play chess, but he always won. Larry and I used to throw a football. Jackie was too young to play with me. Ann is four years younger than I, but I enjoyed talking with her and Tom. Teri and Maribeth were delightful.

Later my family was invited to spend holidays with the Gilman family. We had memorable times, especially Thanksgiving dinner on the ping pong table. Hospitality, conversation, laughter, and love were always a part of our times together in New Jersey, New York, Paris, Austin, and Florida.

I will always miss my sweet Aunt Lollie and energetic Uncle Frank who were great role models.

God bless your family. We will meet in Heaven.

Uncle Frank was a remarkable man full of energy, intelligence, and love. His smile glowed with warmth. Conversations with him were thought provoking. His hospitality was ever present. Mike and I cherish our memories of him and of time spent with his family. He was a vital part of our life and "Grandfather" to our children.

May our Lord comfort Frank's family as he dances for joy with his beloved Lollie.

To the Family of Frank Gilman,
I need you to know that I felt a special bond with your parents. God has truly blessed me in my lifetime with compassionate, loving family and friends and they were an extra special blessing. I thought of them as family over 20+ years, and they will forever have a special place in my heart. Through our sorrow and tears, I do feel a comfort in knowing that Frank is resting in peace in a most beautiful place with your mother Ellen by his side. Frank, you will truly be missed by many. You really touched our life (mom, Dasia and I). I could not have asked for a more caring landlord or friend. I thank you for all the wonderful, interesting, informative conversations, it was always great to visit with you and hear your laughter. The love you had for your family was immeasurable, you always spoke so highly of each and every one of your children and grandchildren. I hope to meet them one day, I know that you and Ellen were great parents. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the cards and kind words sent through the years to Dasia when celebrating special moments in her life. It meant a lot to her and to me. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family. Hugs to you all.
God Bless / Stephanie Meyer & Dasia

I had the pleasure of meeting Frank & Ellen about 20 years ago. They were such nice and interesting people.
They were landlords of our home, but were always concerned for our welfare and they felt like family. Frank, even in this last year, was appreciative of any help or kindness & would write a note of thanks.
Our phone conversations consisted of business, but mostly of how things in the world used to be and our families.
I will miss our calls and my heart hurts for his family
Just wanted to say he and I always talked about being so very grateful that we had loving family and care in our older years
He loved his family and said often how Blessed he was.
RIP Frank and I hope you are hugging your Ellen and smiling down after hearing the words "Well done good and faithful servant!"
Thoughts of Love & careing to the family.

Daddy, I can’t write enough about what an impact you had on my life. The memories flow through me every moment. I thought you would be here forever. You were timeless. Your energy was boundless. You always had a positive outlook in all circumstances. I will miss your playful nature and the deep appreciation you expressed when anyone did anything for you. Giving to you was effortless. I will miss those shining eyes and solid hugs.

I am grateful that I was able to share your last sunset. I will always treasure the image of us drinking champagne with our arms around each other as we watched the sky light up. I will forever thank God for such a beautiful moment.

I am eternally grateful that God assigned my soul to you. I believe we will meet again. Until then, my Daddy, I will cling to my memories and stare at photographs of you and Mom and the amazing love you had. Know that you both touched so many hearts in this world and lived your lives to reap God’s words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

I will love and miss you forever. <3

Dear Frank,
We miss you already! The 'back pew friends' at church is not the same without your smiling face. You were always truly concerned each week how all of us were doing and what was new in our lives.
Our sincere sympathy to your family and loved ones.
May our Lord bless you on this Fathers Day in heaven.
