Frank J. Muscarella Jr. died the morning of November 27th, 2011. He is survived by his wife and six children. Frank was a great unique individual who not only loved his family and close friends but also touched the lives of anyone he came into contact with. He was very successful in his professional and personal life. He was extremely proud of all of his accomplishments as well as those of his children.
Frank started college with the plans to become a doctor and served in WWII with a frontline medical unit in the army. When the war was over, he decided that he wanted to go to law school instead. He became involved in politics when he first moved to Clearwater and was actually appointed to the US attorneys office under President Eisenhower. He served in that position for 4 years and it was the launching point of a very successful business career that included founding his own law firm, Muscarella and Perenich, that is still open to this day, becoming a real estate investor and developer, and raising horses. He became widely known in the community for all of his hard work.
In his personal life, Frank loved all things sports. He would play tennis and golf 2-3 times a week when he had the time, traveled the world to go skiing everywhere from Colorado to Switzerland. He was also the life of a party. Anytime there was a microphone in the room, you knew Frank was going to find it. He loved to tell stories about his adventures through life. Including his many misadventures piloting his own plane to include landing a small private plane at a major military base in bad weather and missing his checkpoint on his way to Miami. That checkpoint was a little lake in south Florida called Lake Okeechobee.
Frank J Muscarella Jr. was an extremely unique fun loving individual. He touched the lives of so many people. He will live on in our hearts and fond memories of a great man. He was a great example of how to live your life. We will miss you.
