George C Mouring Jr.

Born March 24, 1971, passed away from a #MouringStrong battle with cancer on Sunday, October 17, 2021.

He was born in St. Petersburg, FL and is survived by parents Eileen and Dennis Clark, George Mouring Sr, and brother Vincent Joel Mouring.

He married the love of his life, Tracey Jo Owens on May 27, 2000, and has two handsome boys, Christian Joel Mouring and Tobias Zearn Mouring.

George pridefully served in the United States Army as an artillery Sergeant and served three years of his tour in Germany. Upon discharge he became a dedicated telecommunications technician for GTE/ Verizon/ Frontier for 23 years. He also attended St. Petersburg College.

His most favorite pastimes were spending it with his family, especially with his sons, by fishing, listening to music, reminiscing about his Army days and creating numerous projects to tinker with around the house.

He always looked forward to a good Buccaneer football game on Sunday and always joked “I think the Bucs are great!”

A funeral service will occur Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 2853 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759. A committal service will occur Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, 2860 SUNSET POINT RD, CLEARWATER, FL 33759.
