Gerald J Flatt

He was born in Gainesboro, Tennessee on January 13, 1948. Jerry graduated from Florida College and received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of South Florida.

He was married to Elaine Flatt on June 20, 1968.

Jerry built a career in manufacturing as owner and General Manager of The Soule Co. He was a life-long, active member of the Church of Christ, and had a passion for spending time with his children and grandchildren, listening to country music, managing his family business, frequenting the strawberry patch, and working around his property.

He was survived by his children Scott Flatt, Jennifer Pichowsky, and Lindsey Osborne, and his grandchildren; Tyler Flatt, Taylor Fields, Reagan Flatt, Carley Flatt, Weston Flatt, Leah Pichowsky, Tati Pichowsky, Scipio Pichowsky, Hailey Osborne, Natalie Osborne, Logan Osborne, and Morgan Osborne, and his great-grandchild Cade Fields.

He was preceded in death by his wife Elaine, brothers Wally and Bill, and sister Lois.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 6 pm, September 13, 2024, at University Church of Christ.
