She was born in Jacksonville, Alabama on April 27, 1947 to the late Tyson & Jewell (Gorey) Harcrow.
Glenda loved all things outdoors, gardening, fishing, camping… she mowed her own lawn and tended her rose bushes well into her 70s. She loved the woods and the butterflies, squirrels, and rabbits they provided, along with her beloved Collie dog.
Glenda was a tough little lady, feisty and fun! She got her future husband John’s attention when they were young, but strolling right up to his chocolate milk atop his truck, and drank the whole thing down, still a perfect stranger! Soon they eloped, and all went well from there, building a family with two wonderful sons.
Glenda always loved the family gathering together for weekly poker games, with the occasional “Hand and Foot”…
They are so grateful she is now whole and free again!
She was preceded in death by her dear husband John Webb Sr, and her folks, along with her brother, Jerry.
Glenda is survived by her loving sons, John A. Webb, Jr. (Christina) and Jeffrey Webb; and, her beloved grandson, Noah Webb. Along with her late brother Jerry’s wife, Linda Harcrow and many nieces and nephews.
