

Hargreaves V. Tattersall III, or “Harvey” as he was known, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. He was seventy-nine years old. He was born in the Bronx, New York City to Hargreaves V. Tattersall, Jr. and Florence Stephens Tattersall, on January 18, 1943. Harvey served in the U.S. Navy from 1960-1964. He graduated from the University of New Haven in 1969 with a B.S in Business Administration and the University of Connecticut’s School of Law in 1972.
Harvey was very active in the United Stock Car Racing Club family business and worked alongside his father and other family members at various racetracks throughout New England. He then went on to become a successful attorney for various law firms, later becoming a corporate lawyer and a Vice President of Moen Corporation. Harvey loved traveling, the beach, boating, fishing, reading, music, and the companionship of his many loyal dogs throughout the years.
Harvey is survived by his wife, AnnaMarie Christian-Tattersall of Springfield, OR, his three biological children, Hargreaves V. Tattersall, IV of Waterford, CT, Sanderson Tattersall of Lisbon, CT, and Jennifer Tattersall of Fairfax, VA, his sister, Florence Tattersall Keith of Homosassa, FL, and 5 nieces and nephews, including Kenneth Carney of Orange, CT. He is also survived by his three stepchildren Tiffany Jimenez of Tampa, FL, Stephanie Minney of Eugene, OR, and Joshua Prince, Medford, OR, and by 19 grandchildren.
A memorial will take place on January 7th at 1pm at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved father, Hargreaves V. Tattersall Jr., and his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Tattersall.
