Helen Sealy Russell 93, of Florida, passed away on February 22, 2021. Helen was born on May 10, 1927 in the Bronx New York to Clarice Foster and Selwyn Sealy. She was educated in the New York school system. Helen worked for the Veteran Medical Center for more than 30 years, before moving to Florida with daughter Kathryn and two granddaughters Nadia and Nadine. After retirement Helen liked to work part time at the Society of St. Vincent De Paul Store, she loved to knit and go swimming at the beach. Helen is one of eight children from her parents. And is survived by her brother Vernon Sealy and granddaughter Nadine Applewhite. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Russell, daughter Kathryn Applewhite and granddaughter Nadia Applewhite. She will be greatly missed! There will be a funeral mass for Helen on Friday March 5, 2021 at 10:30am at Light of Christ Catholic Church (2176 Marilyn St. Clearwater, Fl 33765). Helen will be laid to rest at Sylvan Abbey Memorial park at 11:30 am. The ceremony will be preceded by Father Patrick Rahill.
