Henry J. St. Pierre Jr. (Bud), age 90, of Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Henry was born in Salem, Massachusetts to parents Gladys and Henry St. Pierre, Sr. on May 5, 1934. Henry met the love of his life while in the Air Force between 1953 and 1957, they married in 1955 and had 4 children together with his wife. They moved from Nebraska to Massachusetts in 1957. He would then graduate from Wentworth College in 1959, and spent his career that spanned over 40 years working in construction wearing many hats, which included building and property management. After college, his family lived for many years in New Hampshire. Eventually, they moved to the Palm Harbor area and resided in Highland Lakes for 26 years, which he would always rant and rave about! When he wasn't working, Henry had many hobbies. He loved to entertain, dance with his wife, bowling, playing cards with his friends, golf, fishing, bocce, attending church with his family, and as a native of Massachusetts he of course kept up with all of the major Boston teams. He loved to eat “chowdah”. And in spite of living in Palm Harbor for 26 years, his Boston accent remained as strong as ever, reminding us of home when we heard him talk. But most of all, he loved to walk hand in hand with his wife down the causeway. For many years, Bud and his wife loved to volunteer as an usher at the Ruth Eckerd Hall. Although having a full social life, Henry always found balance of spending time with his family, this includes being a caretaker for his daughter with CP. Loving husband, father, granddad, and brother. He will be deeply missed!
Henry leaves behind his loving wife of 69 years, 4 children, 6 grandchildren, and 1 sister.
A gathering of Family and Friends will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2024 at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home starting at 9:30am with a memorial service to follow at 10:00am and reception after.
