The years that we lived in Pittsburgh, she was a stay at home mom as she raised us kids. Years before we moved to Florida she got a job at a dry cleaning company. Carol worked there until the family moved to Florida. After making the move to Florida she worked at Kmart in Clearwater for several years then she picked up a job working at Sperry Univac. Carol held down two jobs as a single mom for several years. After advancing in her job at Sperry Univac she quit her Kmart job. Carol worked at Sperry Univac for over 20 years she was a computer circuit board assembler, building computers for the Navy. She was laid off from Sperry Univac then received a job at a Tampa Microwave Company in Tampa. Worked there for 10 years until she completely retired in 2001.
Personal Characteristics:
Carol was a selfless person. Always thinking of her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Never would do anything for herself. She was a dedicated mom/grandma/great grandma. Her nick name was “Kissy Mama”. Everyone thought she was funny! She always had a smile on her face. She loved to wear sunglasses so you could not see her starring at you! Her laugh was contagious. Carol never missed the opportunity to tell her kids & grandkids that she loved them. When it came to sports she was a HUGE Pittsburgh Steelers fan! We knew she had a big project for us to do when she made her famous “Lasagna”. She loved to sit down with us kids and watch scary movies with popcorn.
