

Jim was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Banking.
Jim was the Chief Financial Officer at the Bank of Indiana for 27 years. He was elected School Board President in Portage, Indiana serving 8 years. He coached and umpired Little League before retiring to Florida. After moving to Safety Harbor in 1989, he was employed at Autoway Chevrolet, Clearwater for 15 years in the accounting department.
Jim was an avid Ray’s fan, but his true passion was watching his two grandsons play baseball. He could often be found standing behind home plate, especially when one of them was pitching. He loved to go to their practices and rarely missed a game. He will forever be their biggest fan. His comments and knowledge of the game will be missed by all that sat near him.
Jim is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Jo Millington, also of Safety Harbor.
His daughter, Marcia (Tim) Brock , grandsons, Paul and Kyle Brock, all of Palm Harbor. His sister, Carol Durkin of Williamsville, NY, brother Donald (Linda) Millington of Monticello, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. James is predeceased by his son, James M. Millington.
To honor James’s wishes, there will be no official service, however he would be honored if you would donate to your local youth sports organization.
