MINOR, Jamie C, born August 18, 1943, passed away July 20, 2014 in St. Petersburg, FL. A longtime Florida resident, Jamie moved from Maryland to Miami in 1970 before settling in the St. Petersburg area in 1977. He retired from Honeywell, was an avid golfer, a gifted photographer, and a music lover. Most importantly however, Jamie truly believed in God. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Estela, children Ana Bayliss and James (Jeni) Minor, brother Rick Minor, and 8 grandchildren. Jamie was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Minor. A visitation will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Thursday July 24th at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 am at Espiritu Santo Catholic Church on Friday July 25th. For those who choose to do so, donations may be made in Jamie’s memory to Suncoast Hospice.
