Born on September 13, 1939 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Jane was the beloved daughter of Stan and Helen Devereux, and wife to Paul Singleton, all of which preceded her in death.
Jane lived a life centered on love, creativity, and joy. She dedicated many years to shaping young minds as a Kindergarten teacher at Bear Creek Elementary and Rio Vista Elementary schools. Her warmth, patience and playful spirit left a lasting impression on generations of students and their families.
She will be deeply missed by her loving children, Sandy Clayton, Paul Vrablic, and Katie Brew; her sister Nancy Parker; and her cherished grandsons, Matthew Clayton, Nick Clayton, Owen Brew, Kamryn Brew, and Graham Brew, each of which brought her immense joy.
Jane will be remembered for her creativity, quirky sense of humor, and deep spirituality. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and uplifted, and her joyful presence brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in her family and all those whose lives she touched.
A Visitation will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, in Clearwater on April 18, 2026, from 11:00am to 12:00pm, followed by a Graveside Service at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park at 12:00pm.
