Jeffrey R Matula

Jeffrey R. Matula, age 55, of Belleair, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, on August 5, 1969, to Richard and Martha Matula, Jeff spent most of his life in the Clearwater area after moving there at a young age. He graduated from Clearwater High School with the Class of 1987.

Jeff was known for his active lifestyle and love of sports. He enjoyed playing soccer, tennis, surfing, and basketball, and often spent his free time outdoors or with friends and family. Jeff will be remembered for his loving heart and helping people in need. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Matula, and uncles Jack and George.

Jeff is survived by his loving mother, Martha Matula; his sister, Stacy Matula; his uncles Jerry, Bob, Paul, and Doug; and many cousins who will cherish his memory.

A graveside service to honor Jeff’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida.

Jeff will be remembered for his kind heart, his love for sports, and the deep bonds he shared with his family and friends.
