John Lawson Alexander, age 73, of Clearwater, Florida passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024. John was born on February 12, 1951 in Chattanooga, TN to Dr. Lebron Alexander and Eloise Alexander. Both precede him in death. John is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bibi, his brothers, Dr. Robert Alexander of LaGrange, GA, and Lebron Alexander of Ft. Myers, FL, step-daughters, Tracy Walton and Lysette Rivera and four granddaughters.
John was very interested in Amateur Ham Radio and shared his hobby with his brother, Robert. Sometimes they would contact people all over the world. John had a master's degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a lifetime member of IEEE and the NRA.
There will be a visitation held for John on Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
