Jose Angel was a hard-working and dedicated person. He spent years working as a chef, recognized as one of the best chefs in Miami, according to Miami Herald, where he was known for his leadership and creativity. Despite his many responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Our dad always helped those in need and never took credit for his deeds; he deserves to have his long years of fatherly love honored. He was a man of many qualities; he was compassionate, generous, and he left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Dad’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining families and friends, often spending his weekends hosting events. His love for food, music, and art was something he shared with his children, leaving a mark on us that will never fade.
He is survived by Ruth Chacón, his wife, children Joshua Chacón and Kaitlyn Chacón, mother Celfa Aminta Mendez, siblings Lourdes Chacón, Edwin Chacón, Jeovanny Chacón, Ashton Mondragon, and Walter Ramos, as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on October 5, 2024, at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home.
We find comfort in knowing that Jose Angel’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
