Jose Orosz

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Jose Orosz, of Tampa Florida. Only 36 years old he passed on May 24th, 2023. Jose passed away surrounded by his immediate family as they held him and reminded him of how much he was loved.

Jose was a hilarious, fun, energetic jokester with an appetite for life AND FOOD as he usually ate the food left on everyone’s plate after a meal! He was a swimming with sharks, jumping off of bridges, skydiving kind of guy. He was a hard worker, self motivator and an entrepreneur with a thriving landscape design business.

He loved boating, cooking, dancing, hanging with his family and friends. He was passionate about plants, the environment and food. He fought colon cancer for 6 long months with strength, humor and always with a plan.

Jose leaves behind his dog; Karen, his parents; Fred and Estela Orosz, three sisters; Molly Young, Kennedi Cissell, Mackenzie Orosz, two brothers-in-law; Peter Young and Kyle Cissell and 5 nieces that he adored; Harper, Sawyer, Galilee, Ruah and Wilder. He was a loving son, an awesome brother and a proud uncle.

A visitation for Jose will be held Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759.
