I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing, I will always cherish the memories of working with Joe through the years at PCSO. He was an awesome mentor and friend to me. Prayers for his family and friends at this very difficult time.

Joe Brady was truly a one of a kind guy whose sense of humor filled many a room.  Regardless of the circumstances, he was fair and consistent as a boss. I have many fond memories of Joe from my time as a new deputy at “the old NDS” on US19, through my years as a Sergeant in PIO (Joe called me every Friday afternoon with the same question - lol), to him offering advice to me when I was a new lieutenant in Communication (“Always have a box of tissues on your desk”…turned out to be great advice!).  It was a pleasure and an honor to have known you Joe.  You made a positive difference in many people’s life, mine included. 

Rest easy my friend.

I enjoyed the 10 years I worked for Lt. Joe Brady.  He was there for me through the death of my husband Sgt. Dan Rusher.  He was fun to work for and enjoyed his job.  His laugh was infectious.  My heart goes out to Pat and John along with the rest of your family.  His PCSO family will miss him. 

Sending my condolences  to Pat and the Brady Family. Lt. Brady was always good to me at PCSO. We had many long talks throughout the 20 years we worked together. I respected him greatly and he will be missed.

Lt Joe Brady, what a laugh he had! You'd hear in the hall of the old SAB. That's the thing about Lt Brady, he had that Joe Brady grin and a laugh that was so easy to identify. He was one of the Good ones. One of the guys you always knew you'd miss and you do.. One you knew you'd always remember and we will. One you will always be so glad you knew him and I am. Rest in Peace Lt Joe. 

Extending my deepest sympathies to the Brady family and hoping God will comfort you all during this time.  Joe will always be remembered as a dedicated public servant with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office and an avid fan of the game of the baseball.  

Always having fun! Lt Brady was one of my favorites! He helped me when I had no support and always made me laugh. I was so sad to hear of his passing! I will never forget all he did for me when I worked with him! 

Lt. Brady was such a pleasure to work with.  He had an outstanding sense of humor with impeccable timing.  He always made me laugh so hard.  To this day, when I am facing something challenging, I can still hear him saying " don't get complacent, comfort doesn't mean you're where you're supposed to be.  He truly was a great mentor to me even years after he left the Comcenter.  He will be greatly missed.  My heart goes out to his family.  I will keep you close to my heart, and heavy in my prayers.

Through the years of working with Lt. Brady in the Communications Center our group shared lots of memories.  Lt, was a stranger to no one and found great purpose sharing in the success, joy & challenges of those around him.  His character shined through in many ways even as a boss.  I can remember him writing notes on small pieces of paper & then pulling them out of his pocket all shriveled even "laughing at himself" and still being able to figure out what he wrote.  He participated in many events of the Communications Center especially during the Holidays.  Halloween time was "his time" dressing the part of whatever theme was chosen.  
Our working time together will never be forgotten!
