Kathleen Clark

Kathleen Clark, a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of God, passed away after a life filled with love, faith, and dedication to her family and community.

Kathleen was born on July 25, 1934, in Everett, Massachusetts, to James and Ruth O’Donnell. She was raised alongside one sister, Ruth, and five brothers, Richard, John, James, Joseph, and Robert. Kathy and her family lived in Everett until was twelve (1946). The family then moved to Wells Beach, Maine, for the summers and winters were spent in Clearwater, Florida. Starting in middle school, Kathy attended school in both communities, beginning each school year in Wells Beach, transferring to Clearwater for the winter and then finishing back in Wells Beach.

She graduated from Wells High School in 1952 and earned a degree in Secretarial Science from Nasson College in 1954. In 1958, she married Richard Clark, and together they built a loving home and raised four children: Christopher (Anne), Denise, David (Ariety, deceased), and Matthew (deceased).

Kathy was first and foremost a loving mother. She instilled in her children the importance of faith, kindness, and living a life centered on love. She was deeply devoted to her family, and nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with her grandchildren Joshua, Kaitlin, Alex, and Jonathan and great-grandchildren Hayley, Emily, Madison, and Liam. The grand and greatgrandchildren, were truly the light of her life.

While raising her young family, Kathy helped with the family business, AB & F Upholstery, preparing sales estimates. Later, she began a career in the billing department at Mease Hospital, where she faithfully served for more than twenty years. Even after retiring, her strong work ethic led her to continue working at AC Nielsen well into her eighties.

Kathy’s Catholic faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was an active member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church beginning in the 1970s and remained a devoted parishioner for decades. She generously served as a Eucharistic Minister, a greeter, and worked in the church office, for more than forty years, welcoming others with warmth and sharing her faith through quiet acts of service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth O’Donnell; her husband Richard; brothers Richard, John, and James; her son Matthew.

Kathleen will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, generous heart, and unconditional love for her family. Her example of kindness, humility, and devotion leaves a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.

May she rest in the peace of Christ, reunited with those who have gone before her, and may her memory be a blessing to all whose lives she touched.
