Ken was a National Seniors Housing Director and commercial real estate broker. He owned a real estate school and served as a mentor to many friends and colleagues in both residential and commercial real estate. He had a lifelong love of sailing and often raced in regattas along the Florida coast, from Clearwater to Key West. He served as a chaplain at the VFW, where he enjoyed spending time with his friends and watching the birds
Ken and Dale shared a marriage that lasted more than 50 years. He was always by her side and was supportive, generous, and loving. His children always knew they could count on him for encouragement and guidance. He was their biggest supporter and took great pride in their accomplishments.
Ken remained a big kid throughout his life, especially when it came to his grandchildren. Whether sharing jokes or simply enjoying time together, he brought joy and laughter to those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Concetta Carriero.
Ken is survived by his beloved wife, Dale Carriero; his children, Damien Carriero (Kristin) and Stacey Elbe (Ben); his siblings, Andrea Longo (Joe) and Dennis Carriero (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Alexander Elbe (11), Parker Carriero (10), and Kendall Carriero (8).
