Laurelee Bernard

Laurelee was born on April 7 in Cleveland, Ohio to Laurel and June Baker. Laurelee attended the University of South Florida. Throughout her career, she owned and managed a solar water heating company and a liquor store. She also worked as a fashion coordinator at Stein Mart in Clearwater.

She was an active sports fan and was a USF basketball and football supporter. She was a Girl Scout leader and former member of the Clearwater Women's Club, Clearwater Yacht Club and Belleair Country Club. She loved to attend performances at Ruth Eckerd Hall and Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center. She was a member of both for many years. She also loved to travel, go boating, dine out and socialize with friends. She was always ready to throw a party and entertain friends.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary Bernard.

A gathering for Laurelee will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL 33759. A memorial service will occur at noon with a reception immediately following.
