Leonora Diaz

Leonora “Nora” Diaz, age 85, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2022. Nora was born in Tampa on October 26, 1936 to Amador Vega and Josephine LoPresti Vega. She graduated from the University of Tampa and worked for many years as a beloved elementary school teacher. She was married to Frank Diaz for over 60 years. Her husband Frank predeceased her, but she is survived by their daughter, Cheryl, and son, Frank. Nora enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting seashells, and tending to the flowers in her garden. She loved to dance, and music always brought a smile to her face. She was a world traveler, taking many wonderful trips over the years with her husband, children, and good friends.
