Jesus said it was time for her to join him, Daddy & her many loved ones in Heaven. She met her husband while working for Deluxe Check Printers. Married in ‘49, they moved to Clearwater in 1955. She worked as the Secretary for then Sheriff Don Genung. After purchasing 4 acres in Pinellas County in 1958, she and Joe built their home and started their family, and where they later owned and operated J & L Engraving and North Summerdale Warehousing and Storage until he retired in 1986 due to illness. She later became a Clerk for Pinellas County.
She was a member of the Florida Gulf Coast Chapter Ex-POW and the DAV Chapter 11 of Clearwater and St. Michael the Archangel Church. She had a creative imagination and took great pride in a rhyming Christmas letter. She was very festive and loved to sing & dance and had a great laugh.
Enjoyed HILL-oweeen so much...she dressed until she was...oh, 90! Loved kids & animals, BINGO, pinocle, traveling, holidays, Owls, and the moon.
A great cook, family looked forward to her Christmas stuffed cabbage & stuffed peppers. Playing cards and creating games. Did I say BINGO? She enjoyed making other's special occasions with wheel cards.
There wasn't a holiday w/o decorations. She liked thinking out of the box. Being silly-having fun. A devout Catholic and Patriotic-walked the beach looking for shells.
Those left to mourn and celebrate, her daughter Joanne(Jeffrey)Hill, nieces Mary Kaschub, Barbara Hockenberry, and Arlene Ring, nephews Alan Floria, George and Earl Coe and their families. Brother and sister In-law Albert & Maureen Cseh of Bay Village and their family. She was a great aunt and great great aunt and God-mother to many.
Special thanks to the Nurses, CNA'S, etc @ ManorCare for the love and attention you gave to her.
