Lucille Woods

She was born November 17, 1926 in Clearwater, Florida.

Lucille worked 25 years at the State Attorney’s Office (Pinellas County) and then went to work for Morton Plant Hospital from 1969-1993 in the business office. She was the primary caregiver for her mother, Lillie Mae Woods. She was a member of the Belmont United Methodist Church and the South Clearwater Neighborhood Watch. She was also a charter member of the Clearwater Business and Professional Women’s Club.

Lucille loved baking for her friends, family and her doctors. She enjoyed landscaping her yard, especially raking leaves. She kept in touch daily with friends and family by phone and always had time to listen to others. She will truly be missed by her family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lillie Mae Woods, and a sister, Doris Logan.

Lucille is survived by her nieces, Sarah McDaniel of Cooleemee, NC, Fran Parker (Grimes) of Cooleemee, NC, Patti Tarvin (Mike) of Clearwater, FL, an Uncle, Curtis (Irene) Severance of Clearwater, FL and 26 great/grand nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6-7pm, Monday March 10, 2014 at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 693 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater, FL.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home Chapel in Clearwater with Pastor Michael McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Clearwater Municipal Cemetery in Clearwater, FL.
