

Lynnda L. Speer of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering faith, devotion, and service. She was a woman whose life reflected her deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ, which she lived out daily with grace, strength, and purpose.
Lynnda was a devoted wife and a loving mother who poured her heart into her family. She led by example, demonstrating kindness, resilience, and steadfast faith in every season of life. Her home was a place of encouragement, wisdom, and spiritual grounding for those blessed to know her.
A passionate servant of God, Lynnda dedicated much of her life to ministry and teaching. She was the founder of the Practical Christianity Foundation and the Speer Foundation, through which she sought to guide others in living out their faith in meaningful, practical ways. Her work touched countless lives, offering insight, hope, and a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
Lynnda was also a gifted writer who authored commentaries on the books of the Bible. Through her writings, she shared profound spiritual insights, helping others grow in their understanding and relationship with Christ. Her words will continue to inspire and guide those who seek truth and wisdom.
Those who knew Lynnda will remember her as a woman of strength, conviction, and compassion. Her faith was not only spoken but lived—evident in her actions, her love for others, and her unwavering trust in God.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and service that will continue to shine through her family, her ministry, and all who were touched by her life.
Lynnda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Speer, and her parents, James & Ruth (Stoll) Short.
She leaves behind to honor her memory: her son, Richard M. Speer, and her daughter, Lisa L. Vickers; grandchildren, Lacy Hukari, John "J.C." Scherer, Stoll Speer, Grant Speer, and Sophia Speer; and her brother, Charles H. Short.
On Saturday, May 16th, please join us at Calvary Church - East Lake in Tarpon Springs, for Visitation from 9-10am, followed by Lynnda's Celebration of Life at 10am. Her burial will be private.
