

Madeline dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked as a homemaker and patient care technician, finding purpose in helping those around her. She was known especially for being a wonderful mother who always put everyone else’s needs before her own.
Outside of her work and family life, Madeline enjoyed gardening, completing puzzles, and spending time with the people she loved. Her kindness, selflessness, and devotion to her family will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, James; her sons, Jimmy and Ronnie; her parents, Carl and Ione Bartholomew; and her sisters, Helen, Maisie, Ann, and Genevieve.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan, and her partner, Dave; her granddaughter, Page, and her husband, Greg; and her great-grandsons, Kyle and Thomas.
A graveside service will be held on October 3, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park.
Madeline’s life was defined by love, family, and a lifelong commitment to caring for others. She will be deeply missed and remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
