Mary Madelyn “Gigi” Mischke, 103, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on November 13, 2016. Madelyn was born in Stillwater, Minnesota to Theodore and Mary (Sachi) Steger. She was a 40-year Resident of On Top of the World in Clearwater, then recently Regency Oaks in Clearwater. Madelyn passed away at her grandson’s home in Cincinnati with many of her family at her side. Madelyn was preceded in death by her brother Ray and sister Mary Teresa, husbands Arlon Gislason, Charles Mitchell, and Raymond Mischke, and her son John Gislason. Madelyn is survived by her five grandchildren David Gislason (Susan) of St Louis MO, Rob Gislason (Diane) of Fort Myers FL, Bill Gislason (Julie), Amy Gislason, and Jill Gislason of Cincinnati OH, nine great grandchildren John, Scott, Lindsay, Maddie, Jeffrey, Kate, Natalia, John, and William, and great-great grandchild Kennedy. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 on Tuesday November 22, 2016 at Light of Christ Catholic Church of Clearwater with visitation at 10:00 until time of Mass.
