Born to Philip and Eddie Mae Caltagirone on June 29, 1942 in Tampa, FL, Joan lived a life marked by kindness, resilience and love for her family and friends. She was known for her strength, generosity and a unique drive for perfection that touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Joan worked as a dedicated mother and homemaker taking great pride in providing a beautiful home for her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and travelling with family and friends. She found joy in hosting family activities and celebrations with her greatest happiness coming from being amongst those she loved.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years John Kutch, daughter Monica Going (David Going), son John Kutch II (Sharon Escalera Valero), granddaughter Ashlyn Mae Going, and brother Philip “Bobby” Caltagirone.
She was preceded in death by her father Philip Caltagirone, her mother Eddie Mae Caltagirone, sister Carmen Pardue and brother James Caltagirone.
Though our hearts are heavy with her loss, we take comfort in the memories she gave us and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Visitation will be from 11am-12pm with a Celebration of Life at 12pm, followed by an interment and reception.
