Marie A. McKinney

Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY to her parents, Margie and Caesar Piccolo. She had one sister, Fay. She graduated from John Adams High School. She was married to William McKinney on April 17, 1955. They bought the home on Elmwood Street in Valley Stream New York, where they raised their children. Diane was born in 1957 and Billy followed in 1959. Kathleen was born in 1965 and Danny followed in 1967. She retired a Shop Steward at Teamsters Local 282 in 1997. Marie and Bill purchased a vacation home in Clearwater Florida and became snow birds.

Marie loved her family and it was her greatest joy. Holidays were always a big deal to her and she was an amazing cook and hostess. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Survived by her Husband, William, Her Children, Diane, William, Kathleen and Daniel,, Son in Laws, John and Andrew, and daughter in law Claudine, Grandchildren Kristine, John, Jesse, Megan, Kayla, Connor, Billy & Sean, her Sister Fay and Brother in Law Tony and their children Jimmy, Jane and Joanne.

Funeral Service will be held at Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, 2853 Sunset Pt. Road, Clearwater, FL 33759 | 727-796-1992 on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 2:pm in the chapel.
