Marjorie B. Middaugh

Marge, as her friends called her, was very active in her community. She was very involved with the Church of the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church as a member of the Vestry, ECW & Thrift Shop. She had many friends with which she spent her time swimming, lunch dates and was very active with the Red Hat ladies! She loved to travel & she loved retirement life in Florida.

She was one of 6 children and was born & raised in Rahway, NJ. She received her bachelor’s degree in Education from Glassboro State College, now Rowan College, in Glassboro, NJ. And she taught school for over 30 years in the Hamilton Twp. School district, outside of Trenton, NJ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Ethel Boyle; her husband, Gerald Middaugh; her sister, Harriett Mulhollem; her brother, Arthur Boyle and companion, Joe Copp. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Gibson (Timmy) of Cumming, GA; her son, Robert Middaugh of Trenton, NJ; her grandson, Brendan Gibson of Atlanta, GA and her granddaughter, Ashley Gibson of Athens, GA. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Melchior of Greeneville, NC; her brother, James Boyle of Helena, AL; her brother, Walter of Rahway, NJ and several nieces & nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10 at Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 601 Philippe Pkwy, Safety Harbor.

While for us she is gone too soon, we know the legacy she made will live on forever in our hearts. She is gone, but will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.
